Commerce City Police were informed that the dog was tossed out the passenger side window while the vehicle was in motion. A good Samaritan witnessed the incident and attempted to provide assistance before the arrival of first responders. When the medics arrived, they transported the dog to an emergency veterinarian.

The severity of the dog's injuries was evident as it was in "tremendous pain and unable to move" due to the broken spine. This heartbreaking situation led to the difficult decision of euthanasia to end the dog's suffering.

Owner's Account
