The WIAA, the governing body for high school sports in Washington, has released the highly anticipated matchups that will determine the state playoff brackets. These games, set to be played on Friday or Saturday as arranged by the schools, will set the stage for an exhilarating postseason in the world of high school football.

4A Powerhouses Collide

In the 4A division, the Chiawana Riverhawks will have the home-field advantage when they welcome the Sunnyside Grizzlies from the Big 9 Conference. Meanwhile, the Richland Bombers will hit the road to take on the Yelm Tornados, who earlier this year defeated the Kamiakin Braves. Kickoff for this intriguing showdown is set for Friday at 7 p.m.

The four CWAC teams that have qualified for the 2A postseason will have their work cut out for them.
