





In a remarkable display of academic excellence, 22 individuals from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) have been recognized as part of the 2024-25 NCAA Division III Academic All-District® Women’s Tennis Team. Selected by College Sports Communicators, this prestigious honor highlights the dedication and commitment these student-athletes have shown both on the court and in their studies. Representing various universities within WIAC, these tennis players have met stringent criteria that emphasize not only athletic prowess but also superior academic performance.
The accolades extend across multiple institutions affiliated with WIAC. Notable mentions include Morgan Dekan, Samantha Fuchs, Liv Herzog, and Anna Lee from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Similarly, Hannah Cady, Lauren Lindow, and Maia Samuelson from UW-La Crosse have earned this distinction. Other honorees come from UW-Oshkosh, UW-River Falls, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Stout, and UW-Whitewater. Each of these athletes has excelled academically while maintaining an active role in their respective teams' competitive schedules.
To qualify for such esteemed recognition, each student-athlete must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.0 scale. Furthermore, they are required to participate in no less than 70 percent of their team's matches involving official scores. Athletically and academically, these individuals must be classified as sophomores or above. This rigorous set of standards underscores the balance these young women have achieved between academics and sports.
