The installation of the girders, each over 60 feet long and weighing more than 22,000 pounds, marks a significant milestone in the project.

Meanwhile, the Norwood Lateral rehabilitation has made substantial progress, with all major construction completed. These include resurfacing, pavement markings, and additional signage. Structures over Spring Grove Avenue, Elmore Street, and Beekman Street will also undergo rehabilitation. In Phase 8 of the Mill Creek Expressway Projects, three railroad bridges will be replaced, along with reconstructing tracks and realigning I-75 lanes to accommodate new bridge piers. Travelers should anticipate some disruptions but can expect improved infrastructure once these projects conclude.
