Tennis and Pickleball Courts - A New Addition to the Community

The construction of this court complex began in October 2023 and has recently been completed. It boasts an impressive lineup of five tennis courts and eight pickleball courts, providing ample space for enthusiasts to enjoy their favorite sports. The addition of lighting ensures that players can enjoy the courts even after sunset, while the restrooms and additional parking make for a convenient experience.Bob Branham, the director of Calvert County Parks & Recreation, emphasizes the significance of this new complex. "With the completion of this court complex, we’re not just adding tennis and pickleball courts; we’re adding a place for connection, wellness, physical activity and a place for all in our community to enjoy."

Open for Use - First-Come, First-Served or Reserve in Advance

Three of the new dedicated tennis courts and four pickleball courts are already open and available for use on a first-come, first-served basis. However, if you wish to reserve a court, you can do so by emailing sports@calvertcountymd.gov or contacting the Sports, Community & Well-Being Office at 410-535-1600, ext. 2227 or ext. 2229. The new multiuse courts require some additional curing time and will be available for use in January 2025.
