Ms. Friedman brings extensive experience in both the professional performing arts and non-profit sectors, having previously worked as a stage manager and communications manager. Her return to Lake George Dinner Theatre marks a significant milestone for the organization, as she takes on this pivotal role alongside Artistic Director Jarel Davidow.

The history of Lake George Dinner Theatre is rich and storied, spanning over five decades. Since its inception in 1968, the theatre has been dedicated to offering high-quality dining experiences paired with professional live theatrical performances in an intimate setting. The venue's transformation from Towers Hall Playhouse to its current incarnation reflects its enduring commitment to preserving the art of storytelling. With seating for just 90-120 guests, all within 35 feet of the stage, the theatre provides a uniquely close and personal experience for audiences.

Founded in 1968, Lake George Dinner Theatre has undergone several transformations throughout its history. Initially known as "Towers Hall Playhouse," it began performing at the Fort William Henry Hotel before joining forces with the Holiday Inn Resort in 1976. Over the years, the theatre has maintained its mission of combining excellent dining with top-notch theatrical entertainment. Its intimate setting, which seats between 90 and 120 guests, ensures that every audience member enjoys a front-row experience. Leadership Transition and Future Vision

Sara Friedman's journey with Lake George Dinner Theatre began in 1996 when she served as Assistant Stage Manager for one of the theatre's productions. After obtaining her M.F.A. from Carnegie Mellon University and working in various roles in New York City, including as a stage manager and communications manager, Sara returned to her hometown of Glens Falls, NY. Her recent roles include serving as Director of Marketing and Production Stage Manager for Lake George Dinner Theatre. Now, as Managing Director, Sara will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of the organization.

Sara Friedman's career path has been marked by a deep connection to the performing arts. Her initial involvement with Lake George Dinner Theatre came in 1996, when she worked as an Assistant Stage Manager. Following her graduation from Union College and earning an M.F.A. from Carnegie Mellon University, Sara spent over a decade in New York City, where she honed her skills as a stage manager and communications manager for a large non-profit. Upon returning to her hometown, Sara continued to contribute to the local theatre scene while taking on leadership roles with community non-profits. Her most recent position was with Mills Entertainment, where she served as Tour Manager and General Manager. Now, as the newly appointed Managing Director, Sara is poised to bring her wealth of experience and passion for the arts to Lake George Dinner Theatre, helping to guide it into a bright new era.
