In Fayetteville, North Carolina, a harrowing incident took place on Tuesday night. The city was plunged into chaos as multiple people were shot, with one fatality. Police were promptly called to three different locations, leaving the community in shock.
Chaotic Scene Unfolds
Police Chief Kem Braden initially described the situation as a "disaster," stating that four people in total were shot. However, the Fayetteville Police Department later clarified that the actual number was "multiple." All the victims were shot around 8:45 p.m. in the 200 block of Lieber Street. One victim managed to make his way to Powers Swain Chevrolet at 4709 Bragg Blvd., while another ended up in the 1600 block of Tryon Drive. Despite the initial claim by the police chief, an FPD spokesman later informed ABC11 that the total number of victims could not be confirmed due to the fluid nature of the situation, where details can change "quickly."The victims were rushed to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where one was pronounced dead. Braden revealed that the shootings occurred between two groups of people. Initially, police believed the shootings happened at three locations.
