This experience has shaped Churro Mania's corporate responsibility toward music education. In 2009, Acosta-Rubio founded the Viva La Música (VLM) program, an initiative that provides musical training opportunities and supplies to community centers with instruments in Venezuela.Acosta-Rubio's commitment to improving Miami's youth is now reflected in his new role as the chairman of the Miami Music Project's board of trustees.
