Sophomore Santiago Serrano and Will Roberts both delivered strong performances against opponents from Lamar University. Serrano captured a convincing 6-1, 6-4 win over Lamar's Fabian Anthin, while Roberts secured a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Guy Dagan, another Lamar player. Gamez Earns First Collegiate Win in Thrilling Fashion

Freshman Francisco Gamez, a Brownsville St. Joseph alum, made his mark by earning his first collegiate win in a tight 7-6 (7:4), 1-6, 1-0 (10:8) match against UTSA's Luke Cantu. Junior Showtime Leh demonstrated his fighting spirit by battling back from a set down to defeat Lamar's Jonah Smith in a three-set thriller, 2-6, 7-6 (7:5), 1-0 (10:5).
