In a series of dramatic incidents, Louisiana State Police Troop NOLA, with the assistance of Louisiana Air Support, Drones, and the Slidell Police Department K9 unit, successfully apprehended suspects involved in two separate high-speed car pursuits. The operations resulted in the recovery of stolen vehicles, the seizure of illegal firearms and a significant quantity of narcotics, including fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and marijuana.

Dodge Charger Pursuit Leads to Recovery of Stolen Vehicle and Seizure of Drugs and Firearm

Troopers from Troop NOLA attempted to stop a white Dodge Charger for a traffic violation, but the driver refused to comply and a high-speed pursuit ensued. The Charger eventually ran off the road, and the driver fled on foot. However, the Louisiana Air Support unit was able to assist the troopers on the ground in locating the suspect, who was subsequently apprehended.Upon further investigation, the troopers discovered that the Dodge Charger was a stolen vehicle. They also found a stolen firearm with a 50-round drum magazine, as well as significant quantities of fentanyl, cocaine, and tramadol.

Infiniti Pursuit Ends in Crash, Arrest, and Seizure of Firearms and Narcotics

Later that same day, state police attempted to stop a black Infiniti for a traffic violation, but the driver refused to comply and another pursuit ensued. During the chase, the Infiniti crashed into a fence, and the driver fled on foot. However, the troopers were able to apprehend the suspect after a brief pursuit.A search of the Infiniti revealed a firearm, nearly 400 grams of marijuana, almost 50 grams of heroin, and over 90 grams of cocaine.
