The city of Long Beach is set to become the epicenter of motorsport excitement as it gears up for the 50th edition of the Acura Grand Prix. This prestigious event, taking place from April 11-13, features an exhilarating mix of high-speed racing and fan engagement activities. The renowned 1.97-mile street circuit will host both the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship races in 2025. With over 194,000 spectators attending last year, this year's gathering anticipates even greater enthusiasm and participation.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can expect a variety of thrilling events beyond just the main races. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the Super Drift Challenge promises to captivate audiences with its daring stunts and precision driving skills. Additionally, Stadium Super Trucks will add another layer of excitement leading up to the grand finale—the IndyCar race on Sunday. Complementing these adrenaline-pumping competitions are numerous culinary delights, live music performances by notable artists like DVBBS and Foreigner, as well as interactive experiences at the Lifestyle Expo and Family Fun Zone.

As Jim Michaelian, President and CEO of the Association of Long Beach, emphasized, this milestone event not only celebrates half a century of world-class racing but also fosters community spirit through shared enjoyment. It highlights how sports bring people together, creating lasting memories while honoring traditions that have made Long Beach an iconic destination within the global motorsports scene. Whether you're passionate about speed or simply seeking family-friendly entertainment, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy.
