Lions' Monday Injury Report: Decker, Reader, Davis & More

On Thursday, the Detroit Lions are all set to face off against the Green Bay Packers. This led to the release of their first injury report of the week on Monday. A total of four Lions players were absent from practice, namely left tackle Taylor Decker due to a knee issue, defensive linemen D.J. Reader with a shoulder problem, Josh Paschal with a knee issue, and Levi Onwuzurike with a hamstring injury. Additionally, two other players, cornerbacks Carlton Davis with a knee issue and Emmanuel Moseley with a hamstring issue, were on the injury report. Davis participated in practice on a limited basis, while Moseley completed a full session. Davis had sat out last week's game due to knee and thumb problems, but his limited participation indicates a chance of returning this week. Moseley was a surprising inactive in Week 13 as he wasn't on the injury report initially. Head coach Dan Campbell addressed both players on Saturday, stating that Davis is questionable for the Green Bay game but Moseley will be ready to play. Moseley, who was activated from injured reserve on November 23, provided an update on his status on Sunday. He said, "I just felt a little something, like a little sore. Something that was a little off and we just wanted to be cautious, especially with my history. Everything is good now." Campbell also revealed that Decker is still considered day-to-day and is feeling better. However, a decision on whether he will play against the Packers will be made at the last minute. He said, "Better and better. I still think he's day-to-day. I think it will come down to the wire with him whether he can go this week. He's certainly better (than he was before Thanksgiving)." Onwuzurike, Paschal, and Reader all got injured during the Thanksgiving Day win over the Chicago Bears. Campbell stated on Saturday that Onwuzurike and Paschal are considered day-to-day but he is not optimistic about them playing in Week 14. Reader's status remains uncertain. Now, let's take a look at the injury reports for both teams from Monday.
