Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is undoubtedly the best Lego game I've had the pleasure of playing. It's not just a game for Star Wars fans; it's a masterpiece that combines the charm of Lego with the epicness of the Star Wars universe. You don't have to be haunted by the name "The Phantom Menace" to enjoy this game. It takes you on a journey through the stories of all nine core Star Wars films, filled with that trademark Lego brand of silly humor and clever riffs on famous movie moments. The game is a visual delight, with stunning graphics that bring the Lego world to life. There are countless Easter eggs hidden within, adding an extra layer of fun for dedicated fans. It was one of my favorite games of 2022 for a good reason.

However, it's not without its flaws. Reports of developers at TT Games working long hours to finish the game cast a shadow over it. And the collectathon aspects can become a bit of a slog if you aim for 100 percent completion. But despite these minor issues, there are potentially dozens of hours of family fun to be had here, and you can enjoy it all for free.

While I can't personally attest to its fun factor, it's a great addition to the store's free offerings. Maybe it will become a new favorite for some gamers.
