The lower Valley Station, situated near the iconic Basilica of St. Castor, features a curved rooftop that echoes the elegance of the basilica's architecture. The choice of materials, including a wooden framework, V-shaped concrete columns, and metal shingles, pays homage to Koblenz's historic roof and facade patterns, creating a harmonious blend of old and new.The upper Mountain Station, located at the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, presents a distinct yet cohesive design.
