JY AIR, the first electric vehicle from JuneYao (จูนเหยา), has made its debut in Thailand with two sub-models. Equipped with two battery sizes, each with a capacity of 204 horsepower, it features rear-wheel drive with a maximum cruising range of 430 and 520 kilometers (NEDC).

JY AIR's Pricing

The Standard model comes with a special price of 759,000 baht (regular price 899,000 baht), while the Plus model has a special price of 869,000 baht (regular price 1,018,000 baht). The JY AIR vehicle with a fast-charging battery pack is in a Monoform egg-shaped design, resulting in a low drag coefficient of only 0.23 Cd. It is placed on the SKY platform with an LFP battery installed in a Cell to pack system. The body dimensions are 4,550 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,515 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,800 mm.

Exterior Features

The front is equipped with LED lights, and the taillights are in OLED style. The door handles are pop-out type. The roof has a panoramic sunroof. The Standard version has a size of 17 inches, while the Plus version has a size of 19 inches.

Battery and Power Details

JY AIR has two battery sizes depending on the sub-model. Both the Standard and Plus models are equipped with a maximum electric motor power of 204 horsepower and a maximum torque of 250 Newton-meters, and they have the same rear-wheel drive. The maximum speed is 170 km/h. However, the Standard model uses a 51 kWh battery with a cruising range of 430 km, while the Plus model uses a 64 kWh battery with a maximum cruising range of 520 km according to the NEDC test standard.

Interior Details

In the Plus model's passenger compartment, there are a total of 3 colors available: Luna Grey, Silk Black, and Honey Orange. The interior trim is made of PU synthetic leather. But the Standard model only has Luna Grey color with PVC interior trim. It has a 15.6-inch central touchscreen and a 10.25-inch instrument panel.

Advanced Driving Systems

In addition, JY AIR is equipped with a Level 2 automatic driving system consisting of multiple functions such as speed control, following distance adjustment with the front vehicle, automatic parking assistance, lane keeping control, and front collision avoidance systems.
