A Family Legacy Continues as Brittany Force Marries
Brittany Force's Family Background in Racing
Brittany Force carries an illustrious legacy in the world of motorsports. Growing up in a family where racing is a way of life, she is the daughter of John Force. Her sisters, Ashley Force Hood and Courtney Force, are also established drag racers. Brittany's journey in drag racing began in 2005 within the Super Comp category. She advanced to the Top Alcohol Dragster division in 2008 and made a notable debut in the Top Fuel category in 2013, becoming the first driver from John Force Racing to compete there. This family tradition has paved the way for her success in the sport. In 2016, Brittany made headlines by becoming the first woman to win the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals and setting a new record in NHRA top fuel drag racing series. She clocked a run of 3.676 seconds over 1,000 feet at Heartland Park Topeka in Kansas. Her historic victory in 2017 saw her crowned as the NHRA Top Fuel champion, the first woman to achieve this since Shirley Muldowney in 1982. Further solidifying her performance, Brittany secured a second Top Fuel championship in 2022. These achievements have not only cemented her status in the sport but also inspired many, particularly women in motorsports.Brittany's Marriage and Personal Life
Brittany's marriage to Adam Crooks has added a new chapter to her life. While details about the ceremony and her new husband are scarce due to her inclination to maintain privacy, it is clear that this is an important milestone for her. She shared on social media, "I can't wait to do life with you! Thank you for the most beautiful photos and capturing our special day!" This shows the significance of this union in her life.Even as she continues to shine in the world of motorsports, her personal life is also an important part of who she is. She values her privacy and has chosen to keep certain aspects of her marriage out of the public eye.John Force's Recovery and Support
Although 2024 is coming to a close on a high note for the Force family, John suffered a horrific crash at the Virginia Nationals earlier this year. After months of recovery, the 16-time Funny Car Champion made his return to the NHRA scene in Las Vegas as a spectator to support his team.Speaking about her father's return, Brittany commented, "Coming into this weekend, we knew it was going to be special because my dad had planned to come out, so he drove up with my mom (Friday morning) and I think everyone was looking forward to seeing him, especially me. I have grown up out here at these racetracks all over the country, but I have never been out here without him. So, it has definitely been strange since June to be out here without family, which is why my team and all these guys and everybody in John Force Racing – everyone in our pits – is family. They feel like brothers to me. I'm lucky to have them and their support. To have family back, have my dad back out here, I'm so excited for him. I think it is great for him. He has been pushing physical therapy and he has been focused, and he has been dedicated to it and we are really proud of him. But I think being out here with his old routine with the fans, with his teams, standing on a racetrack, that’s where he should be. I'm happy to be out here with him and really proud to perform well and put a killer number on the board. I wish we could have got down there on that last run, but it was pretty cool to do that with him standing behind our car."This shows the deep bond between Brittany and her father and the importance of family in her life.
