They defeated Incarnate Word's Emilio Vila and Alejandro Hernandez in a tightly contested 7-6 (3) match, claiming the top spot in the red draw of the East-Finals.In the 3-4 playoff stage of doubles play, the Mavericks' team of Pedro Sasso and Andres Medus showcased their teamwork and skill, defeating Abilene Christian's Martin Delnido and Tomas Tischner 6-3.

In the singles competition, Sasso faced a tough challenge in the East-Finals of the purple draw, where he engaged in a closely contested match against Abilene Christian's Dennis Dutine. Despite his best efforts, Sasso ultimately fell to Dutine in a hard-fought 7-6, 6-4, 8-6 battle.
