This week, Gran Turismo 7 players are invited to experience a thrilling lineup of high-speed competitions across three distinct races. Featuring an array of specialized vehicles and challenging tracks, the latest round offers something for every type of racing enthusiast. The events range from a Japanese tuner car showcase in Race A to sophisticated Gr.3 and Gr.2 battles in Races B and C. Each race brings its own set of rules, tire requirements, and strategic considerations that will test drivers' skills and adaptability. As participants prepare for these challenges, they also remain mindful of their Driver Rating (DR) and Sportsmanship Rating (SR), which continue to evolve based on performance.

In Race A, competitors take control of the iconic Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo, a legendary Japanese tuner car known for its powerful turbocharged engine. Developed through a collaboration between Polyphony Digital and Hideki Tanabe of Power House Amuse, this vehicle first appeared in Gran Turismo 4 before making its real-world debut at the 2005 Tokyo Auto Salon. Equipped with a modified 2.3-liter F20C straight-four engine paired with a HKS GT3240 turbocharger, it delivers over 600 horsepower. Drivers will navigate the demanding Tsukuba Circuit for seven laps using mandatory Sports Medium tires, all while contending against eleven equally equipped opponents.

Moving on to Race B, participants face off in Watkins Glen Long Course with any Gr.3 car available in their garage. This five-lap sprint event requires Racing Medium tires and showcases a variety of vehicles, although recent trends indicate a preference for M6 models among top performers. Despite the competitive landscape, strategic choices regarding vehicle setup and lap management can make all the difference in securing victory.

Race C presents perhaps the most intense challenge yet, as competitors tackle Autodrome Lago Maggiore's Full Course for twelve laps in one of three specified Gr.2 cars: the Honda NSX Concept-GT, Lexus RC F GT500, or Nissan GT-R Nismo GT500. Tire wear becomes a critical factor here, with a 2x multiplier affecting both Racing Soft and Medium tires. Drivers must carefully monitor their lap times and plan pit stops strategically to avoid penalties, ensuring optimal performance throughout the race. Additionally, crossing pit lane entry or exit lines results in a three-second penalty that must be served on-track within designated zones.

Accessing these Daily Races requires unlocking Sport Mode by completing Menu Book 9 ("Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade") in the GT Cafe single-player hub. A valid PlayStation Plus subscription is also necessary to participate. With updates rolling out every Monday since the game's launch, players eagerly anticipate the next set of challenges scheduled for April 14th. These events not only provide excitement but also contribute significantly to each player’s overall ranking within Gran Turismo 7's esports ecosystem.
