Many of these families are relocating from Minneapolis, drawn by the prospect of more space and greater affordability."Most of my clients are young families, some moving from Minneapolis and looking for more space that's affordable," White said. While convincing these clients to consider areas as far out as Delano or Buffalo can initially be a challenge, White has found that once they visit the community, their perceptions often change."Then we get out there, and they're like, 'Wow, this is actually a really cute community,'" White shared. She acknowledged that her own assumptions about these outer-ring suburbs had also shifted over time. "To me, areas like Buffalo and St. Michael used to be considered the boonies," she said. "But now I'm there all the time and the people who relocate there end up loving it."
