ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – For the first time ever, professional boxing took center stage in Rockford as the World Boxing Association hosted a championship card at the Hard Rock Casino.

Fans packed the venue for a full night of fights, bringing big energy from the opening bell to the main event. The card featured a mix of local talent, rising prospects, and seasoned fighters across multiple weight classes.

With the success of this debut event, there’s hope Rockford could become a regular stop on the boxing circuit.
