The event, organized by Nassau gymnastics coordinator Kim Rhatigan and Cold Spring Harbor coach Teri Kindelmann, began as a dual invitational to raise awareness for cystic fibrosis in 2015. Over the years, it has evolved into a significant fundraiser for brain cancer research.
