Before you can start using redeem codes in Girls Frontline 2, you need to make some progress in the game's story. Push through the tutorial or skip it directly if you prefer. Once you have unguided control over the main menu screen, which requires downloading around 11GB on iOS, look for the Code Redeem option in your Profile. Redeem a code and the rewards will be directly sent to your in-game mail. You can find this in the corner of the main menu.
When it comes to choosing characters to start with in Girls Frontline 2, while we always recommend going for the ones you like the look of, upgrading naturally stronger units can make your resources go further. Here is the tier list:
S-tier:
Suomi, Tololo, Qiongjiu, Sabrina, Lotta
A-tier:
Ksenia, Mosin-Nagant
B-tier:
Nemesis, Cheeta, Colphne, Sharkry, Ullrid, Groza
C-tier:
Peritya, Vepley, Nagant
D-tier:
Littara, Krolik
If you want to get the best start possible in Girls Frontline 2, here is how to reroll:
Start the game with a Guest account. Play through the tutorial, which is around Stage 1-2. Use the working Girls Frontline 2 codes mentioned earlier. Grab every pre-registration and launch reward from the mail. Pull as many times as you can in the Standard banner, likely around 20-30 times. If you don't get the character you want, delete your account and start again. Aim for at least one S-tier character like Suomi, Lotta, or Sabrina. To simplify things, go for an SSR character from the Standard banner with the starting pulls and then switch to the Beginner banner to get a guaranteed second SSR within 50 pulls. If you feel like rerolling after potentially hours of play, leave the Beginner Banner for last. Dump your account if you don't get 2 (or even 3) SSR characters, which means two from the Standard banner (through both luck and pity) and another from the Beginner banner.
The service for Girls Frontline 2 begins on December 5, 2024. It is not clear whether this is at midnight local time or based on your region.
