Demonstrating unmatched dominance over their rivals, the Bulldogs extended their winning streak to eight consecutive matches against the Yellow Jackets.
Opening with a strong performance in doubles play, the Bulldogs’ No. 68 Guillermina Grant and Anastasiia Lopata set the tone by defeating Kate Sharabura and Alejandra Cruz 6-4. Following closely, Aysegul Mert and Hayden Mulberry sealed the doubles point for Georgia after overcoming Taly Licht and Given Roach on court three with another decisive 6-4 victory. Meanwhile, the match between Dasha Vidmanova and Mell Reasco versus Kylie Bilchev and Scarlett Nicholson was left unfinished due to Mert and Mulberry's timely triumph.
Momentum carried into singles play as the Bulldogs continued their relentless pursuit of victory. On court five, Grant delivered a solid performance, defeating Licht in two sets with scores of 6-3, 6-3. Shortly after, Mert added to the tally by besting Roach in straight sets, contributing significantly to the team's overall scoreline. The match-clinching moment came courtesy of Rojas, who triumphed over Olivia Carneiro on court six. Despite Carneiro’s efforts to keep the contest competitive, Rojas managed to secure a hard-fought 6-4, 7-5 victory.
In other singles encounters, Vidmanova engaged in a thrilling three-set battle against Nicholson, while Lopata faced off against Cruz.
