The GCMS tennis team took on St. Joseph-Ogden on Monday, September 9th, in a closely contested match. The Spartans proved to be a formidable opponent, ultimately defeating the GCMS team 5-0.In the singles matches, Samantha Kelso of St. Joseph-Ogden defeated Natalie Aberle of GCMS 8-3, while Madison Clampitt of St. Joseph-Ogden dominated A. Steidinger of GCMS 8-0. The doubles matches were equally challenging, with the Spartans' MaKennah Hamilton and Lily Rice defeating Natalie Aberle and Kacley Robertson of GCMS 8-2. Sara Kearney and Avarie Dietiker of St. Joseph-Ogden edged out Grace Steidinger and McKenna Odgers of GCMS 8-5, and Ainsley Rhoten and Madison Farber of St. Joseph-Ogden secured an 8-1 victory over Caylynn Embry and Charity Miguel of GCMS.

The Warriors proved to be a dominant force, handing the GCMS team a 7-0 defeat.In the singles matches, Sarah Parsons of Watseka overwhelmed Natalie Aberle of GCMS 6-1, 6-0, while Marisa Clark of Watseka defeated Grace Steidinger of GCMS 6-1, 6-2. Reagan Anderson of Watseka also secured a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Kacley Robertson of GCMS, and Elika Hardisty of Watseka dominated McKenna Odgers of GCMS 6-0, 6-1.The doubles matches were equally challenging for the GCMS team.
