Pocatello residents are about to embark on a journey of enhanced well-being with the upcoming free interactive wellness workshop. This event, hosted by Superior Physical Therapy with its seven clinics spread across southeast Idaho, marks a significant milestone as their first-ever Winter Wellness Workshop. Scheduled to take place at 5 p.m. on December 19 at the Shoshone-Bannock Hotel and Event Center on Bannock Avenue in Pocatello, it is set to be a one-stop destination for all healthcare needs.

Discover the Power of Wellness

Health, Balance and Self-Care Focus

The workshop will primarily center around three crucial aspects - health, balance, and self-care. It aims to provide participants with proven methods to maintain their well-being during the winter months. With free consultations and special guests sharing their insights, attendees will gain valuable knowledge and practical tips.

As Hayley Petersen, the patient care coordinator over the Pocatello and American Falls clinics, explains, "PT is not the only specialty many people need, and primary care isn't the only one either. It can be challenging to visit multiple places for different healthcare needs. This workshop will bring it all together in one place, and you'll also discover what you actually require."

Among the offerings at the workshop are musculoskeletal ultrasounds and nerve conduction studies. These advanced diagnostic tools will help in a more comprehensive assessment of one's health.

Previous Workshop vs. This Winter Wellness Workshop

In the past, Superior Physical Therapy has conducted workshops at each of their clinics, but they typically focused on just one body part or a specific condition. This time, they wanted to reach out to an even wider audience and involve the community more actively.

Petersen said, "It addresses one certain population before. Now, with the Winter Wellness Workshop, we aim to help more people and showcase our specialties. We've invited local providers like Portneuf Surgical Specialists, Ortho Idaho, general surgeons, potentially dentists, and durable medical equipment people. If it's something we can't fix here, we'll guide you in the right direction to get the help you need."

Attendees are encouraged to come and get checked out, have their questions answered, and receive the help they deserve. Petersen passionately states, "We'd love everybody to come. We're super excited to have this event."

Registration is encouraged but not mandatory. To register, simply click here. Petersen also advises those with specific needs like an ultrasound or consultation to register in advance to streamline the check-in process.
