The Franklin & Marshall men’s tennis team celebrated a successful season with four players earning recognition on the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team. Among them, Luke Brodsky secured first-team honors for singles, while other athletes such as Zac Ashtiani and Gonzalo Gentou also received accolades for their performances in both singles and doubles categories. The Diplomats finished the year with an overall record of 9-11 and ranked as high as No. 36 nationally.
This past spring, Franklin & Marshall showcased remarkable talent within its roster. Leading the charge was Luke Brodsky, who earned top-tier honors for his singles performance at the No. 1 position. Brodsky concluded the season with an 8-13 record, securing key victories against conference rivals. Additionally, his partnership with Soren Rudin-Aulenbach flourished in doubles play, resulting in second-team all-conference honors. This duo achieved a stellar 13-5 overall record, including an impressive 5-1 mark within the conference.
Zac Ashtiani also made waves this season by being named to the second team for singles after accumulating seven wins competing primarily at the No. 2 spot. Another standout athlete, Gonzalo Gentou, demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship throughout the year, earning selection to the CC All-Sportsmanship team for the second time in his career. Gentou maintained a perfect 4-0 record against conference opponents and contributed significantly to the team's success.
In doubles action, the combination of Ashtiani and Gentou garnered second-team all-conference recognition with a respectable 10-13 record during the season. Their consistent efforts helped propel the team forward through challenging matches. Overall, these accomplishments highlight the depth and dedication present within the Franklin & Marshall men’s tennis program.
