To successfully complete this week's Treasure Hunt, adventurers must navigate to the Ohtani region and locate the chest situated across the lake from the Kinkaku-Ji Temple, positioned towards the center of the area. For a more precise reference, this spot is slightly northwest of the Honda NSX-R GT Barn Find location. Simply drive to the Kinkaku-Ji Temple and follow the path along the western side of the lake. Upon reaching the exact spot, players can crash into the Treasure Hunt chest to claim their reward and fulfill the challenge requirements.
Completing this weekly challenge awards players three points toward their Festival Playlist progression and a generous sum of 100,000 credits, making it a rewarding endeavor for a brief five-minute detour. New Treasure Hunt locations will be revealed weekly, offering continuous opportunities for exploration and reward. The Series 1 update also features appealing incentives, such as unlocking the 1999 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z Edition and the 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR for achieving 20 and 40 points, respectively, in the Summer season.
