The current Fortnitemares Halloween event will conclude on November 1st, marking the end of Chapter 7 Season 4 and ushering in the annual mini-season, which serves as a transition into Chapter 8. Leading up to this, teasers have been released, including the aforementioned pirate treasure chest that has been slowly revealing itself. Beyond in-game clues, posters have started appearing in Madrid subways since October 20th. These posters feature generic, cell-shaded anime-style characters, designed by Epic Games, rather than recognizable One Piece characters.
