Prior to that, Fuller gained valuable experience as a graduate assistant at both North Carolina and Appalachian State.
A native of Duncanville, Fuller, who will turn 32 in March, was a seventh-round draft pick for the Houston Texans in 2017. His playing career also saw him with the Washington team, a brief stint with the Dolphins, and four seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, where he played under Carroll. He concluded his professional playing days with appearances for the Broncos, Ravens, and the USFL's Michigan Panthers.
