Folk School of Fayetteville: Caroling & Cookies, Acoustic Concert

The Folk School of Fayetteville has long been renowned for offering one of the coziest musical havens in the area. However, during the holiday season, this historic downtown house takes coziness to a whole new level. On December 20th at 5:30 p.m., there will be an evening of Caroling and Cookies, and on December 21st at 6 p.m., a special acoustic concert featuring Amos Cochran and Miranda Baker-Burns. Bernice Hembree from the Folk School shared that last year they held caroling on the lawn, but this year they have decided to bring the music inside the magnificent Walker-Stone House in downtown Fayetteville. "This year we wanted to make it even more enjoyable by adding cookies," she said. Those who wish to join in the singing are welcome to bring their favorite cookies to share, and the Folk School will have a variety of warm beverages such as hot cocoa and mulled wine to enhance the festive holiday atmosphere.
