Strengthening Our Community, One Act of Generosity at a Time

Giving Tuesday: A Day of Impact

December 3rd marks Giving Tuesday, a global day dedicated to giving. This is one of the most crucial days for our fundraising efforts. By donating at edmondsfoodbank.org/givingtuesday or mailing in a check, you can help us reach our $50,000 goal. Every dollar counts and makes a significant difference in the lives of those we serve. Our team is working tirelessly to ensure that every donation is put to good use. We understand the importance of this day and are grateful for the support we receive. With your help, we can continue to provide fresh, culturally relevant, and nutritious food to our community.

Edmonds Toy Shop: Spreading Joy to Families

We are currently collecting new toys for children aged 0-9 and funds to purchase gift cards for families with older children. The collection will continue at the food bank until December 5th, with our event on December 7th. You can visit edmondsfoodbank.org/toy-shop to purchase a gift from our Amazon Wishlist, make a monetary donation to Toy Shop, or sign up to volunteer.Giving toys and gift cards during the holiday season brings so much joy to families. It helps to create memories and make the holidays special for those who may be facing financial difficulties. By participating in the Edmonds Toy Shop, you are directly contributing to the happiness of our community.

Host a Food Drive: Making a Difference in Your Neighborhood

Hosting a food drive or donation bin in your office, church, school, or neighborhood is a great way to give back. Right now, our most-needed items include rice, condiments, baking ingredients, canned veggies, and canned tuna. By collecting these items, you are helping to stock our shelves and ensure that we have enough food to meet the needs of our community.Food drives are a powerful way to bring people together and make a positive impact. Whether it's a small gathering or a large-scale event, every contribution counts. Join hands with your neighbors and colleagues and make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Save Your Bags: A Simple Act with a Big Impact

We use paper and plastic grocery bags each week for our customer's orders. By bringing your bags in whenever we are open, you are helping us save money and reduce waste. These bags are put to great use and make a significant difference in our operations. It's a simple act that requires no effort, but the impact is huge. Every bag you bring helps us to provide more food and support to our community. Join us in this small yet meaningful initiative and make a difference together.

Volunteer: Giving Your Time and Skills

We have volunteers who come in at the same time each week and others who offer their time whenever they can. There is a job for everyone, from organizing and shopping to driving and administrative tasks. By volunteering at the Edmonds Food Bank, you are directly involved in making a difference.Your time and skills are valuable, and we welcome you to join our team.
