The Fuerteventura Waste Management Master Plan has been developed through a collaborative effort involving the Cabildo, the Canary Islands Government, local municipalities, the business and industrial sectors, associations, producers, distributors, consumers, and the general public. The plan sets out a series of ambitious goals to transform Fuerteventura into a leading example of sustainable waste management. Following the initial approval by the Cabildo, the Fuerteventura Waste Management Master Plan and its strategic environmental assessment are now open for public consultation for a period of 45 working days, starting from July 4th. During this time, citizens, organizations, and all interested parties are encouraged to provide their feedback and contributions through the Cabildo's electronic headquarters.Advancing Waste Management Infrastructure
The plan's implementation is already underway, with several key projects in progress.
