In Madison, Wisconsin, the community was deeply saddened by the loss of a 47-year-old man. Loved ones gathered to remember the father, son, and friend who met a tragic end in the Yahara River in October. Mavis Mosby-Thompson, the mother of Christopher Mosby, painted a vivid picture of her son as a fun-loving individual. "Everybody loved to hang out with Chris," she said. "He was the life of the party. With Chris coming there, he just like make everybody smile and try to just do things. If he know that you need something done, he’ll be there."
The Unfortunate Circumstances
This father of seven passed away late in October. Monona Police reported that his car left the road on the 700 block of Pirate Island Road and ended up in the Yahara River. It was emphasized that there were no environmental factors such as weather or road conditions that contributed to the crash. Mavis Mosby-Thompson shared the heartbreaking news that her son had just finished barber school that day, Monday, and was scheduled to graduate. He had a passion for barbering and had decided to make it his career, aiming to be independent and hold a job down.
