The renowned fragrance line, Gucci The Alchemist’s Garden, has introduced three new aromatic wonders—Vanilla Firenze, Fiori di Neroli, and Osmanthus Nectar. These additions join the existing bestseller, Tears from the Moon Eau de Parfum. Initially launched in select duty-free locations across Asia Pacific, these scents will soon be available in travel retail outlets throughout Europe and the Americas starting March 1st. Inspired by the alchemical practices of Florence during the Italian Renaissance, each fragrance undergoes a unique transformation process symbolized by one of the four classical elements. The launch campaign, crafted by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno, visually narrates the creation journey of each scent through tactile imagery, highlighting the intricate ingredients and processes involved.

The Art of Transformation: Aromatic Journeys Through Classical Elements

Each new fragrance represents a distinct stage in an alchemical transformation, symbolizing earth, air, water, or fire. The Substratum scents incorporate earthy elements like resins, woods, and dried leaves, undergoing processes such as calcination and maceration to unleash their full intensity. These perfumes are encased in black bottles adorned with detailed golden illustrations of animals and symbolic motifs, embodying the essence of the earth. Meanwhile, the Vaporum family scents capture aerial qualities through pure ingredients and synthetic molecules, sublimated via gas extractions or biotechnology. These light fragrances come in elegant white bottles featuring flying creatures, reflecting their ethereal nature.

The Substratum collection delves deep into the earthy roots, using materials like resins, woods, and dried leaves that undergo rigorous processes to release their full potential. Calcination, maceration, solvent extraction, and infusion are employed to transform these raw materials into potent essences. The resulting fragrances are housed in striking black bottles, decorated with golden illustrations of animals and other symbolic motifs. Each bottle tells a story of transformation and strength, paying homage to the ancient art of alchemy. In contrast, the Vaporum family explores the airy dimension, utilizing pure ingredients and synthetic molecules. Techniques such as gas extractions and biotechnology recreate the essence of air, producing light and airy fragrances encapsulated in pristine white bottles adorned with images of flying creatures, symbolizing freedom and transcendence.

Innovative Distillation and Daring Creations: Water and Fire Perfumes
