The Holiday Hustle 5K: A Race for a Cause

On Saturday, December 7th, the students of the Perryville Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO) Program are organizing the Holiday Hustle 5K. This energetic event will take place at the TG Missouri Trail, providing a scenic backdrop for participants to showcase their athletic prowess while contributing to a worthy cause. Registration for the 5K is set at $25 per person, and those interested can sign up by clicking the provided link.The Holiday Hustle 5K is more than just a race; it's a testament to the students' entrepreneurial spirit and their commitment to turning their dreams into reality. The Holiday Trivia Night: A Battle of Wits and Entrepreneurship

On Monday, December 16th, the students are hosting the Holiday Trivia Night at the Robinson Event Center. Doors will open at 5:30 pm, and the contest will commence at 6 pm. Teams of up to 8 people can register for this event by December 11th for a fee of $160.The Holiday Trivia Night promises to be an evening filled with intellectual challenges and friendly competition. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their knowledge while supporting the students' entrepreneurial endeavors. The funds raised from this event will further bolster the students' efforts to launch their start-up businesses, paving the way for their future success.

The Perryville Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO) Program is a true partnership between the local schools and the business community. Students from Perryville High School, Saxony Lutheran High School, and St. Vincent High School are all involved in this innovative program."This program is a true partnership between our schools and our business community," said program facilitator Amy Camarillo. "Students are immersed in the business world from Day 1 with the opportunity to learn from experts in nearly every industry and service area, from banking to government to marketing to trucking."In January, the students will be paired with mentors who will guide them through the process of developing a business idea, creating a comprehensive business plan, and ultimately launching their start-up ventures within the local community. This collaborative approach ensures that the students receive the necessary support and guidance to turn their entrepreneurial dreams into reality.The Holiday Hustle 5K and the Holiday Trivia Night are just the beginning of the students' entrepreneurial journey.
