In late June, the vibrant city of London will host a pivotal week dedicated to climate action, focusing on innovative solutions for sustainable food systems. The event brings together diverse stakeholders from farmers and scientists to policymakers and business leaders. At the heart of this initiative is a sold-out summit and an interactive workshop aimed at fostering meaningful dialogue and actionable strategies to combat climate challenges in the global food system. High-level decision-makers, including Chief Sustainability Officers (CSOs), will engage in critical discussions about reducing food waste, promoting regenerative soils, and transforming private sector roles within the industry.

A Glimpse into the Upcoming Events

In the enchanting atmosphere of London during the summer, a series of transformative events is set to unfold at the end of June. Among these, the much-anticipated 2nd Annual Summit will take place, drawing participants from across the globe. Organized collaboratively with Google Cloud, the UN Environment Programme, and Unilever, the "Chief Sustainability Officers Summit" targets influential figures within the food industry. Over 180 CSOs and other invited leaders will convene at Google London–Central Saint Giles starting at 12:30 PM on Thursday, June 26th. This exclusive gathering seeks to provoke thought-provoking conversations on pressing issues such as climate change, food waste, and soil regeneration.

Following the summit, another remarkable event titled “Regenerative Food Systems—Scaling Impact from Soil to Shelf” will occur on Friday, June 27th. Hosted jointly by EIT Food and Regen House, it adopts an unconventional format where all attendees actively participate in dynamic discussions arranged in concentric circles. Confirmed speakers include renowned experts like Darina Allen, Tatiana Campos, and Anna Müller, who will delve into topics ranging from land regeneration to enhancing trust and equity throughout the entire food supply chain.
