The UIM E1 World Championship introduces an innovative format that combines speed with strategic maneuvering. Teams compete using Racebird, a state-of-the-art foiling hull designed for agility and performance. Powered by a 150 kW electric motor and supported by advanced navigation systems, these boats can reach speeds up to 90 km/h. The series emphasizes driver skill over technological advantage, as each team uses the same equipment. High-speed charging stations ensure quick turnarounds between races, while onboard systems provide real-time data for precise navigation.

The Racebird, crafted by Seabird Technologies, measures 7 meters in length and features a cutting-edge foiling hull design. Victory Marine and Mercury Racing supply the powerful 150 kW electric outboard motors, delivering approximately 200 brake horsepower. Kreisel provides the 35 kWh batteries, enabling extended race durations without compromising performance. QiOn's charging stations facilitate rapid recharging, allowing teams to maintain competitive momentum. Simrad and C-MAP systems enhance situational awareness, ensuring accurate course navigation and strategic decision-making during races.
