The second installment of "Dungeon Masters," dubbed "Arcana Unleashed," will debut on July 8. This iteration is designed to synchronize with D&D's 2026 "Season of Magic" and its pivotal publication, "Arcana Unleashed." This forthcoming volume will concentrate on mystical arts and specialized arcane classes. The initial promotional material for "Dungeon Masters" Season 2 hints at the specific subclasses chosen by its distinguished ensemble: Devora Wilde will portray an Arcane Archer combatant, Neil Newbon a Tattooed Warrior ascetic, Mayanna Berrin a Hexblade patron mystic, and Christian Navarro one of the four available wizard archetypes derived from the preliminary "Unearthed Arcana" arcane subclass experimental content.
Given the series' objective to highlight significant releases within the D&D annual schedule, this announcement confirms that "Arcana Unleashed" will present the definitive versions of these subclasses. It is also probable that it will incorporate elements from the supplemental mystic subclasses that emerged later in "Unearthed Arcana," thereby revitalizing beloved options from the 3.5 edition era. While "Arcana Unleashed" is a player-oriented resource, focusing on mechanics and class options, it will be complemented by an adventure titled "Arcana Unleashed: Deadfall." Based on the preview, the quest unfolds near the Anauroch desert, located in the northern regions of Faerûn, a considerable distance from Thay. Nevertheless, Anauroch harbors relics of the formidable wizard empire of Netheril, suggesting the plausible encounter between the adventurers and malevolent Red Wizards within its confines.
In a recent interview, Jasmine Bhullar expressed her enthusiasm for returning to what she affectionately terms "her" production, rendering her choice as Dungeon Master unsurprising.
