Villiam Garcia Adsten's basketball journey began at the age of nine when his mother encouraged him to try the sport due to his towering stature. Quickly captivated by the game, Garcia Adsten dedicated himself to honing his skills, often playing against older competitors and putting in extra training sessions. His hard work and natural talent soon paid dividends, as he progressed through the ranks in Sweden before making the bold decision to move to Spain at the age of 15 to further his basketball development.

In Spain, Garcia Adsten's skills continued to blossom, as he played for two different clubs, Saragossa and UCA Murcia. It was during his final year in Murcia that he received an offer to play at Pacific University in the United States, a move that he felt would allow him to pursue his professional basketball aspirations while also continuing his education. After a single season with the Pacific Tigers, Garcia Adsten decided to enter the transfer portal, seeking a better opportunity to showcase his abilities and further his development.
