These new versions move away from the anticipated V8, instead featuring Stellantis' potent 3.0-liter twin-turbo 'Hurricane' straight-six engine. This strategic shift offers enthusiasts a fresh perspective on muscle car performance, ensuring exhilarating power delivery within a more contemporary powertrain framework.
The Sixpack range is highlighted by two distinct power outputs. The top-tier Scat Pack, utilizing the 'High Output' variant of the Hurricane engine, generates an impressive 550 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque. This configuration allows for a rapid 0-60 mph sprint in just 3.9 seconds, boasts a top speed of 177 mph, and completes a quarter-mile in a swift 12.2 seconds. Meanwhile, the Charger R/T, equipped with the 'Standard Output' engine, delivers a still-respectable 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft, reaching a top speed of 168 mph.
Both Sixpack models come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, providing excellent traction and stability. For those seeking a more spirited driving experience, the all-wheel drive can be configured to send power exclusively to the rear wheels.
