Turks and Caicos beaches are renowned worldwide for their pristine beauty. From the moment you step onto the sand, you're greeted with crystal clear turquoise water and a sense of tranquility. It's as if you're floating in a swimming pool, until you come across a Conch shell like the one we found!

Unforgettable Experiences at Turks and Caicos Beaches

Hit the Beach

The beaches in Turks and Caicos hold a special place among the best in the world. The white sand is as pure as snow, and the water is a mesmerizing turquoise. It's a sight that leaves you in awe. Whether you're lounging on the shore or taking a dip in the calm waves, every moment is a delight.

Imagine floating in that heavenly water, with the sun shining above and the gentle breeze caressing your skin. It's a feeling that stays with you long after you leave. And don't forget to keep an eye out for those hidden Conch shells, like the one we stumbled upon. It's these little treasures that make the beach experience even more special.

Float in the Many(!) Pools

Beaches Turks and Caicos boasts an impressive array of pools. With about 9 pools and a 45,000 square-foot waterpark spread across 4 villages, there's a pool for every mood and preference. The Caribbean Village, the original village, has a large L-shaped pool with a grotto and a swim-up bar. Surprisingly, it never gets too crowded, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful swim.

Our favorite pool is undoubtedly the big, rectangular French Village pool, which is set back from the beach. It offers a serene atmosphere where you can relax and unwind. And look at those little ones floating in the French pool with their friends when they were young! It's a sight that brings back memories. The infinity pool in Key West Village, though not very big, has its own charm with its tucked-away location. We even took a midnight swim there after dinner one night, and it was a magical experience.

Hang 10 in the Waterpark

Dad made a splash on the SurfStream Surf Simulator in the Pirates Island Waterpark in the Caribbean section of the resort. This is the only surf simulator on the island, offering an exciting surfing experience. You can also grab a boogie board and catch waves on your belly, adding to the fun.

For our boys, this was a favorite activity. They would spend multiple times a day here, going between laps around the lazy river and waterslide runs. It was a place where they could let loose and have a great time. The waterpark truly has something for everyone.

Catch a “Dinner Show”

At the all-inclusive Beaches, there are 21 dining options to choose from, including 18 restaurants and 3 food trucks. Kimonos is a must-visit, but it requires a reservation. The chefs here are true entertainers, juggling utensils and flipping shrimp tails while cooking up a delicious feast.

We went on a fishing excursion and were able to arrange for the chef to cook our catch right in front of us. It was an unforgettable experience, watching the chef work their magic with our fresh catch. These dining options truly enhance the vacation experience.

Feast at the Food Trucks

One of the best parts of an all-inclusive family trip is being able to try a variety of cuisines without breaking the bank. Sample Curls ‘n Swirls ice cream, milk shakes, and frozen yogurt. My daughter Charley loved it when she was 7. Mr. Mac is perfect for all things macaroni & cheese, and our boys would eat it for breakfast, lunch, snack, and sometimes dinner! Jerk Truck offers authentic Jamaican jerk, and The Dive has a wide selection of beverages.

If you have a food allergy like me, don't worry. Just visit the culinary desk upon arrival, and they'll help you map out your meals. It's these small details that make the trip even more enjoyable.

Bake with Cookie Monster

Beaches Resorts has an exclusive partnership with Sesame Street, bringing a touch of magic to your vacation. Your kids can bake with Cookie Monster, do story time with Grover, have tea with Abby Cadabby, rock out with Zoe and Rosita at a dance party, and play number games with the Count!

There are daily character parades and nightly stage shows that will make your kids' faces light up. Even the tweens and teens couldn't resist the charm of Elmo popping up at the pool. It's a memory that will last a lifetime.

“Build” Your Own Souvenir

Inside the candy and gift shop on property, there's a mini Build-a-Bear Workshop. My son Brooks, then 4, still treasures the stuffed shark he made years ago. Kids can pick out outfits and receive a birth certificate for their new friend, making it the ultimate vacation souvenir.

It's a fun activity that allows kids to take a piece of the vacation home with them. The joy on their faces as they create their own souvenir is priceless.

Sip Coffee by the Ocean

While your kids are busy having fun at Beaches, you'll have the chance to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee by the ocean. I sipped my coffee and read two whole books, relishing in the peaceful atmosphere.

There are autism-friendly Kids Camps available for all ages, run by certified nannies. You can explore the various offerings and age breakdowns right HERE. It's a great option for parents who want to have some alone time while their kids are having a great time.

Make Lasting Memories

I truly wish we could stay at Beaches in Turks and Caicos forever. The memories we made here will stay with us forever. From the beautiful beaches to the fun activities and delicious food, every moment was special.
