On Tuesday at Kings & Priests Ministries, an amazing sight unfolded. Volunteers worked tirelessly to provide 300 families with a holiday meal bag within the first hour. As Pastor Jeffrey Thomas II observed, "When we started packing things down and putting it together, I started thinking this is amazing, where all we have to do is come together." This initiative is truly taking away the struggle and strain that families might face during the holiday season.
It shows the power of community coming together and offering a helping hand. Thomas hopes that people are inspired by these distributions to extend kindness and help others during this special time.
There are several more opportunities to get holiday food. On Friday, November 22nd, another distribution will take place. This provides a chance for families to stock up on fresh produce, holiday meal staples, and treats. It's a wonderful way to ensure that everyone has something to celebrate with.
Similarly, on Monday, November 25th, and Wednesday, November 27th, more distributions will be held. These events are open to all families and require no registration. It's a simple and accessible way to provide much-needed support during the holiday season.
The holiday season is a time for giving and coming together. With the help of the Office of Public Health & Safety, families can enjoy a festive and fulfilling holiday. Let's continue to spread joy and support through these food distributions.
