As they savor the authentic Mexican cuisine, they will be serenaded by the captivating sounds of local mariachi bands, transporting them to the heart of Latin America.The evening will be punctuated by intermissions filled with exciting raffles and moments of pure enjoyment. But the true highlight of the event will be the recognition of the Family of the Year, as well as the Male and Female Teachers of the Year, honoring the individuals who have made significant contributions to the Gila Valley community.

Revving Up for a Classic Car Show Scholarship Fundraiser

The celebration of Hispanic heritage will continue on November 2nd, with a classic car show taking place on the south campus of Eastern Arizona College. This event, organized to benefit the Eastern Arizona Hispanic Heritage scholarship fund, promises to be a visual feast for automobile enthusiasts.The proceeds from the car show, as well as the raffles and other fundraising efforts, will be used to provide scholarships to students attending Eastern Arizona College. Over the years, the Eastern Arizona Hispanic Heritage Corporation has already established an impressive endowment of approximately $30,000 with the EAC Foundation, and they have created around $60,000 in scholarship funds to support the educational aspirations of the community.
