Girls basketball witnessed some remarkable moments as Mountlake Terrace emerged victorious with a resounding 58 - 22 score against Marysville Getchell. The Hawks' players showcased their skills on the court, leaving a lasting impression. Meanwhile, Meadowdale also had a successful game, defeating Everett with a score of 67 - 14. Mountlake Terrace's Victory Over Marysville Getchell

Mountlake Terrace High School guard Iman Kaifa (21) was in top form as she put up a shot over Marysville - Getchell’s Emma Kirkwood (12). The Hawks' Jordyn Stokes (20) and Marysville - Getchell’s Elle Glover (42) were constantly in a battle for rebounds. Guard Jaliyah Dyson (30) sprinted past the Marysville - Getchell defender with ease, cutting through the defense. Hawks guard Samiah Coffee (2) drove between the Marysville - Getchell defenders, showing her determination.

The scoring by quarter was impressive, with Mountlake Terrace scoring 17 in the first quarter, 13 in the second, 15 in the third, and 13 in the fourth. Marysville Getchell managed to score 05 in the first quarter, 02 in the second, 12 in the third, and 03 in the fourth.
