Suspects Flee on Foot

The Nissan Maxima was eventually found parked in the Red Roof Inn parking lot on Shelby Oaks Drive, where the two suspects, Woods and Roderic Crymes, exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. While Crymes was quickly apprehended, Woods managed to evade the officers by hiding in the nearby woods, waiting for them to pass before making his move.
