Representing Maine-Endwell was Lou "Mini Jaws" Caforio, while Johnson City High School was represented by Marc Hendley Jean-Francois, also known as "Marc the Bottomless Belly." Chenango Forks' entry was Jacob "Tonka" Robinson, each student eager to claim victory for their respective alma maters.The contestants faced off against the towering "Tower of Q," a massive sandwich featuring layers of succulent barbecue meats, melted cheese, and all the fixings, accompanied by two large servings of crispy fries. So, we were just thinking with the competitive spirit locally and all these teams and the way that fans and parents and students and faculty is also super pumped up about these sports programs, we thought it would be fun to have a little competition around something that everybody loves, food," Polhamus said.The epic culinary clash not only showcased the students' remarkable appetites but also highlighted the strong sense of community and school pride that permeates the Johnson City area.
