The recent deployment is a joint effort between CoreWeave and Dell, with Dell providing fully integrated racks of these advanced systems. Each rack is a formidable powerhouse, housing 72 Blackwell Ultra cards, which collectively feature 36 Arm-based 72-core Grace CPUs and 36 BlueField DPUs. A key highlight of this integration is the sophisticated liquid cooling system required to manage the immense heat generated, with each GPU consuming up to 1,400W. Dell’s role included pre-building and rigorous testing of these units before delivery, ensuring a streamlined deployment process for CoreWeave. This new infrastructure boasts impressive performance metrics, offering 1.1 ExaFLOPS of dense FP4 inference and 0.36 ExaFLOPS of FP8 training performance per rack, and is expected to double the speed for scale-out connections, reaching up to 14.4 GB/s.
