This unique event, titled "Racing into Reading," drew an enthusiastic crowd of nearly 400 attendees despite the unfavorable weather conditions. The initiative aimed to inspire children by connecting their passion for racing with the joy of books. Families were invited to participate actively, creating a more meaningful experience than merely sending funds for book purchases.

Kolten Gouse, General Manager of BAPS Motor Speedway, expressed that while introducing people to racing is significant, nurturing students' reading skills holds even greater importance. Emma Hudak, a student, was thrilled about her selection, "Gabby’s Dollhouse: Treasure Hunt," while Piper Rea shared her excitement over an "Inside Out 2" graphic novel and her brother's choice, a Dog Band book.
