An inspiring local effort is set to make a difference once again this Easter season. The organization, Uniting and Healing Through Hope of Monroe County, is gearing up for its fifth annual food distribution event aimed at supporting families in need. This initiative reflects the spirit of generosity and community care that has become a hallmark of the region.

This year’s food drive will take place over an extended period, allowing more individuals to contribute or receive assistance. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., leading up to April 14, volunteers will be stationed at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church on Joseph Avenue. Clay Harris, the visionary behind this project, has partnered with ARC Rochester to expand the reach and effectiveness of the program. His leadership continues to inspire others to join hands in making a positive impact.

The collaborative efforts of such organizations highlight the importance of coming together during challenging times. By fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose, communities can overcome obstacles and ensure that no one goes without essential resources. Such initiatives not only address immediate needs but also strengthen bonds among residents, promoting long-term well-being and resilience.
