The Colby College Men’s and Women’s Crew teams showcased impressive performances during a challenging regatta held at Lake Quinsigamond. Battling against strong opponents such as WPI, Wesleyan, Smith, and Hamilton under less-than-ideal weather conditions, the athletes demonstrated remarkable resilience and skill. The men competed for the prestigious Class of 2003 Cup while the women vied for the Jennifer McLaughlin Cup, both delivering commendable results.

Notably, all four male crews achieved significant victories by sweeping past their rivals from WPI and Hamilton. Among these standout performances was the Men’s Varsity Eight team, which secured second place with a time of 6:20.21, trailing only slightly behind the leading Cardinals.
